It started off very sunny and hot. We made our way up the valley and finally up the hardest, steepest part to the top of the ridge. The peak of Table was in sight, a nice easy 1.5 to 2 miles ascent along a fairly mellow looking ridge. The summit looked amazing, right up behind the Tetons
Unfortunately, we had storm clouds closing in from all directions. We dropped off the ridge just in time- not 15 minutes later the thunder started. It was a fairly severe storm. Thankfully we were able to take cover lower in the valley during the worst of it. Until next time Table Mtn...
This is a view of the summit from our stopping point, on the ridge near the bottom right.
