Dropped more money on car repairs than I would have liked, but the Benz is running better than ever now. After hanging around LA for a couple of days, I finally made it to San Diego!

Car was having issues in Riverside, CA yesterday. Waited 6 hours in 113 degree weather for a tow truck last night and am now chillin' in LA until I get it fixed. Hopefully continuing on the journey soon...

Just left Vegas. Driving through the Nevada desert in 105 degree heat with no AC. Not my ideal day.

Burlington Weekend

Another weekend in Burlington. Finally some decent weather after a not-so-nice week.

[ Started the week off with a morning at hole 13 of the Vermont National Golf Course. Sean and I were witnesses for a hole-in-one. Anyone to make it wins a new Volvo. ]

Club Hikin'

Erich and I hiked Mt. Philo on Sunday. We decided it should actually be called Hill Philo. It was short, but good to get outside and do something.

Yesterday, Erich, Sean, and I hiked Mt. Mansfield. Going up, we did a speed hike/jog and made it to the top in about an hour. Coming down we decided to take a detour down Hellbrook. It took about twice as long and was steep, rocky, and slippery.

Club Bikin'

Grabbed some cruiser bikes from Sean's office at Burton and hit up the Champlain bike path with Jessa, Erich, and Sean. We brought along the boom-box cooler. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.

Club Boatin'

Arrived in Burlington on Friday evening for the first time in two years. Sean picked me up at the airport, we grabbed some bottles to pop, and headed out to Lake Champlain. It was around 90 degrees on Friday. Hot, but perfect for the lake.

Had my first bad crash of the season... guess it had to happen sometime. I went into step-mom with too much speed... landed with my front wheel already going off the boulder. ~10ft to landing flat on my shoulder/chest. Knocked the wind out of me. Gonna be sore tomorrow for sure.

I redeemed myself this afternoon with some nice whips and half a dozen no-footers though! Finally getting them down. So stoked.

Moved everything out yesterday and finished all the cleaning tonight. It was quite the task. Goodbye red house on the alley, it's been fun.
