JHMR Photoshoot

I did a photo shoot with photographer Julie Weinberger from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort this morning. It was for their new bike park. The first open trail is pretty sick. I lapped a number of the jumps and berms with Andrew Whiteford and Jacki Strenio to get the shots. Once everything else is open next summer, it should be amazing. Slow and steady it's been getting better. Thanks Julie!

Finally hit the first feature on Jimmy's. Boulder step-up to decent size drop off the back. Smooth as butter.

Lake Solitude

I hiked out to Lake Solitude with Adam and Alex last Tuesday. It was pretty epic. For not having been hiking this summer, it was pretty long. We did it in pretty good time.

Elevation change: ~ 2,800 feet

Horseshoe Canyon

I went to Idaho with Purser and Jake yesterday to ride the Horseshoe Canyon trails. It was very hot out. We rode about 10 miles total on a couple different trails. We didn't have a map of the trail system, so we pretty much picked randomly where to go. Without knowing any of the trails, it seems pretty complex. It would be fun to do some more exploring back there. Maybe with a map next time.

Total Distance: 9.6 miles
Duration: 2.5 hours
Ascent: 1105 feet (Forgot to start the GPS for a few minutes...)
Descent: 1160 feet

Heading to Horseshoe Canyon in Idaho for a trail ride with Jake and Purser. Should be a good day...
